Every Thursday night is Round Robin night at the Concord Table Tennis Club. This is a "mini" tournament for players of all skill levels, from beginners to "almost-pros" to partake in friendly competition with other players of their own skill level.
 
You will be assigned to play among a group of 5 - 6 players of your skill level. Every one in the group plays against each other. Based on your performance (number of wins and losses and the current rating of your opponent), a club rating will be calculated for you. It's the same calculation used by USATT.  By participating regularly, you can track your performance and your progress in this sport and gain experience to prepare you for playing in USATT-sanctioned tournaments. Important facts:

1. To participate, you must sign in as a player by 7:15 pm. If you are unable to do so, you can call our message center at 925-689-7463 before 6:30 pm to reserve your place on the players list.
2. Round-Robin play starts at 7:30 pm. The club will be opened on Thursdays at 6:30 pm to allow for practice.
3. Players arriving after 8:00 pm will forfeit all matches that could have played before 8:00 pm.
4. The standard $5 playing fee ($7 for nonmembers) must be paid when you sign up. For juniors, the fee is $3 ($5 for nonmembers).
5. All games will be played according to USATT rules.
6. New Policy - July 2005 - Due to the large number of players and the time it takes to complete all matches, effective immediately, NO pre-game warm-ups will be allowed. Players must start their matches as soon as they get to their tables.
